    Late Bindeshwari Baghel Government College, Kumhari, established with the vision of imparting quality higher education to rural and semi-urban youth, aims to foster holistic student development and contribute to the socio-economic progress of the region. The college offers undergraduate in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams, with a commitment to academic excellence, inclusivity, and community engagement.


Ø  INSTITUTION’S PLAN FOR RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION:

·       Faculty members will be encouraged to undertake Major and Minor Research Project and creating awareness about various          states, national and industrial level funding agencies.

·     Organizing workshops/ training programmes on preparation of project proposals as per the requirement of the funding agencies.

·   Inviting experts from within and outside the states from reputed research organizations, universities and industries for staff     training.

·     To collaborate with institutes of national and international repute for interdisciplinary research.

Ø  INSTITUTION’S PLAN FOR LIBRARY AS A LEARNING RESOURCES:

·       Up-gradation of Library barcode system for book issue and return online to students.

·      INFLIBNET facilities: To enhance Library management System College subscribe to NDLI.

·     Book-bank facility is extended to needy students. Under this scheme more needy students are provided with free issue of      books for one academic year.

·       Registering maximum students in the NPTL and encouraging students to register and earn credit in MOOC online courses.

·       To registered the students in SATHEE and SAMARTH portal for preparation of competitive exams.

Ø  INSTITUTION’S  PLAN FOR INFRASTRUCTURE AND E-GOVERNANCE:

·    Adequate number of computer facilities are provided on the campus to make students technology friendly and maximize use of     ICT in teaching – learning.

·     Updating all student related activities and notices in the college website time to time.

·     To Facilitate Institute by various quality assurance initiatives, leading to achieving more quality standard certificates.

Ø  INSTITUTION’S PLACEMENT PLAN FOR STUDENTS:

·  Placement enhancement approach by Training, Carrier Counselling Programs, Internship and Active linkage with nearby institution, industries and research organizations.

·   To undertake or sign functional MoUs with industries and academic institutes for skill development and placement for students.

Ø  INSTITUTION’S PLAN FOR INCUBATION AND START-UP:

·       Formation of Start-up Centre & register students in the club.

·       Incubation Centre to be opened in next 5 years.

·      To conduct entrepreneurship program for Start-ups under various government scheme.

·      To support from higher education to provide facilities for internship/hands- on training / field work/ workshop.

·       Creating awareness on IPR.
